Youth Alpha

No actual carpets were harmed* during this game.....

You will need:

A group of people, a big space, and a floor that is ok to sit on.

How it works:

This is your basic game of 'TAG' with a slight twist (good carpet chat there).

Everyone must sit on their butts, on the floor, with feet forward - no kneeling or crawling allowed. Everyone sitting.

One person is named 'IT' and on 'GO' they have to try and tag people by shuffling themselves around - so still sitting. People must try and move away by shuffling in the sitting position as well - no one may get up, run, crawl or kneel.

Once someone is tagged, they must join one hand with the person who was 'IT' to form a chain and they now become 'IT' as well.

Now the two of them must try and tag people whilst stilll holding hands - every time someone new is tagged, they must join the chain and help try and tag other people.

The chain cannot unlink otherwise it loses its power to tag others.

The winner is the last person not tagged.

(* there's always a first time though......probably not one to play on the new cream velvet/plush)
