Chips Included!

“What struck me was the enthusiasm for Jesus amongst all of you and the ‘young’ people attending”...

... “So glad we went and made connections with other churches”, Trish from Our Lady, Queen of Apostles church in Cheddar shared earlier this week.

We’ve just returned from the Youth Alpha Tour in Cardiff where we had a SERIOUSLY amazing time.

What stood out?!

1. The overly competitive balloon game; young people and slightly older alike were uber enthusiastic.
2. The FANTASTIC lunch (chips included!) which was cooked for us by two lovely ladies from the host church.
3. Having our mates from YFC and Youth Alpha Advisers with us to help out with the talks and training.
4. Lots of discussion and chats amongst everyone who came from a wide range of backgrounds and churches.

And yup, you guessed it in one... These are the four key ingredients in the Youth Alpha recipe...

1. Fun
2. Food and fellowship
3. Short live talk
4. Small group discussion

Alaw, a legendary youth worker from Cardiff reported back:

“Sunday was amazing for us - at church, Cai and Gwilym (two of our young people who came on the Tour) spoke passionately about how they had been inspired on Saturday to share their faith with their friends at school.”

So there you go – we’re excited that we’ve still got lots more Youth Alpha Tour dates coming up... Don’t miss out; find out when and where here.
