Eye wateringly good!

You will need

A packet of the sourest chewy sweets you can find – enough sweets for one per player

How it works

Line each team up in equal numbers so that they are facing the rest of the group (or however you want to arrange it for a competitive scenario). There must be at least two teams.

Place one sour sweet in front of each player. Explain that everyone must chew the sweet when it’s their turn. (ie. no attempts at swallowing it whole!)

On the shout of "GO!", player number 1 in each of the lines, must put their sour sweet in their mouth and chew it until it’s gone – when it’s gone they must open their mouth to prove it to everyone. Once that has happened then it passes to player number 2 in their line to pick up their sweet and put it in their mouth and do the same thing. Chew until it’s gone, open their mouth to prove it, and then player number 3 can start to eat their sweet and so on.

The first team to finish each of their sweets in turn and for the whole team to sit down is the winner.
