FEETBALL (YOUTH ALPHA GAMES)
Utterly competitive - we love it!
You will need:
Your feet
Your hands
A large-ish ball
Enough people to form a circle
How it works:
Stand in a circle so that each person’s feet are touching the feet of the person next to them, making sure that each person has their feet shoulder width apart.
Everyone must be facing inwards to the circle, then everyone must lean forwards with their hands clasped together (volley ball style) so that they can reach a ball that will be on the ground in the circle.
Someone then starts off the game by rolling a ball into the circle.
The aim of the game is to prevent the ball from going between your legs (a goal) by keeping your hands clasped together and defending the gap between your legs (whilst keeping your legs straight).
If the ball goes through your legs then you have to turn around and defend whilst facing away from the circle.
If the ball then goes through your legs again, you are out.
We hope you enjoy the selection of youth games on Youth Alpha. For lots more games to play with youth groups then log on to www.youthalpha.org
