- REVISED AND UPDATED (February 2010)

This is a brand-new version of the Leaders' Guide, released in February 2010. It is a fully comprehensive guide with all you need to know to run a fantastic Youth Alpha course. The Leaders' Guide contains 4 main sections:

Section 1 – Youth Alpha course sessions: the talks covered in depth. Here, for each talk, you’ll find a session summary (including aims, general notes and an overview); lots of ideas for games; a comprehensive talk outline (including word-for-word guidance if you need) and the small group discussion questions. You can choose from either the 8, 9, or 10 week track.

Section 2 - How to run a course: all that you need to know to plan your course and make it happen. This includes how to run a Launch Event, the course itself, and the Weekend/Day Away. If it isn’t answered here, it probably isn’t a question worth asking.

Section 3 - Expert Advice: twelve articles from leading youth ministry professionals covering the different aspect of running a Youth Alpha course – contributing authors include Mike Pilavachi, Pete Greig, Gavin Calver and Mark Oestreicher.

Section 4 - Team Training: two talk outlines to help you train and equip your team to run Youth Alpha.
