Youth Alpha

WATER JeeeeeeeOKE!

You will need:

A cup of water
A group of people
Pen and small bits of paper for each person
A list of questions

How it works:

Prepare a list of questions that could have a variety of answers eg:
1. Name a capital city in Europe
2. A boys name beginning with A
3. Name of a youth leader on team
4. A book from the New Testament
5. A type of celebration chocolate
6. A newspaper
7. A piece of clothing etc etc

Place your group in a circle, and ask each person to write their answer to the first question on a piece of paper (don’t read out the other questions yet). They must not show anyone else their answer.

Ask one person to step into the middle and show you the answer they have written down. Ask everyone else to hold their answer paper.

Stand one other trusted person next to the person in the middle with a cup of water (and have some spares on standby).

Explain that water will only be thrown in the face of the person in the middle when you shout ‘FIRE’.

Declare what the person in the middle has said to the group. Then rapidly run round the group getting them to read out what is on their paper.

Each time they show and say the same answer as the person in the middle of the group said, then shout ‘FIRE’ and they get a cup of water thrown in their face.

This game works best fast!
